Sharing Christ's Love Through Simple Acts of Service

In every neighborhood, there are hearts in need—some broken, some weary, and others simply longing for kindness. At Project DISK, we believe the love of Christ is best revealed through small, consistent actions of care. This is where our mission begins: right here in our community.

Our hope is to invite families, youth, and individuals to step out—not far, but just beyond their doorstep. Whether it’s delivering care packages to neighbors in need, cleaning a local park, or writing letters to the elderly, each act becomes a vessel of God’s love.

Here are some practical ideas you can do as a family or group:

• Prepare snack kits and distribute them at a homeless shelter.

• Visit a local nursing home and share a song or a smile.

• Host a neighborhood clean-up with a prayer walk.

• Donate books to schools or libraries with encouraging notes inside.

• Write cards to those who may feel forgotten.

We believe that when Christ’s love is shared with sincerity, even the smallest effort can spark hope.

Let’s start small. Let’s stay close. But let’s do it with the heart of Christ.

일상 속 섬김으로 시작하는 사역

우리 주변에는 눈에 보이지 않지만 도움이 필요한 이웃들이 많습니다. 마음이 지친 사람들, 외로운 어르신들, 따뜻한 말 한 마디를 기다리는 이웃들. Project DISK는 이런 이웃들에게 작은 사랑의 손길로 다가가는 것에서 사역을 시작합니다.

그리스도의 사랑은 거창한 프로젝트보다도, 일상의 작은 행동을 통해 더 선명하게 전해질 수 있다고 믿습니다. 가족과 함께, 또는 소그룹으로 아래와 같은 활동에 동참해 보세요:

• 간식 키트를 만들어 노숙인 쉘터에 나눠주기

• 요양원 방문해서 찬양과 따뜻한 말을 나누기

• 동네 공원 청소 및 기도 산책 진행하기

• 도서관이나 학교에 격려 문구가 담긴 책 기증하기

• 외로운 이들을 위한 손편지 쓰기

이 모든 활동 하나하나가 하나님의 사랑을 전하는 통로가 됩니다.
작게 시작하더라도 진심이 담기면 큰 희망이 됩니다.

멀리 갈 필요는 없습니다. 작게, 가까이, 그러나 그리스도의 마음으로 시작해보세요.
