Q: Why did Jesus die?
A: Jesus died to pay for our sins and bring us back to God.

Teacher: “Have you ever been punished for doing something wrong?”
Children: “Yes...” “I had time-out...” “I lost my toys.”

When we do wrong, there is a consequence.
But Jesus never did anything wrong — yet He took the punishment for us.
Why? Because He loves us so much.

Jesus died on the cross so that we could be forgiven, and have friendship with God again.
That’s why we call it Good Friday — because Jesus' death brought us life.

  1. Sin & Cross Paper Chain – Write sins on paper strips and form a chain, then break it with a big red cross!

  2. Heart Puzzle Craft – Make a broken heart puzzle and “fix” it by adding a cross in the center.

  3. Forgiveness Relay – Kids run from “Sin Station” to “Cross Station” where they receive a heart sticker of forgiveness.
